On March 31, 2026, Chongqing Chuke Intelligent Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chuke Intelligent") successfully partnered with a client with specific needs, signing a purchase contract for two laser welding machines with specific configurations. This demonstrates Chuke Intelligent's strong capabilities once again in the field of medium-gauge aluminum foil welding.
The client brought their own fixtures and samples for testing. Their requirement was to weld medium-gauge aluminum foil, which is only about 0.01mm thick, presenting significant challenges during the welding process. Due to the extremely thin foil, it is highly susceptible to melting, deformation, and even ignition when heated. The processing time requirements are extremely stringent; a short processing time must be used to minimize the heat impact, otherwise the product will be scrapped, failing to meet production needs.
After thoroughly understanding the client's needs, Chuke Intelligent's technical team immediately recommended the QCW platform
Laser Welding Machine based on their professional experience. QCW (Quasi-Continuous) lasers, characterized by high peak power and adjustable pulse width, can output high energy in a short time, effectively reducing the heat-affected zone and making them ideal for welding ultra-thin materials. However, Chuke Intelligent currently lacks a 75W QCW laser in its inventory, hindering the project's progress.
Faced with inventory constraints, Chuke Intelligent did not back down but quickly mobilized its internal technical resources and engaged in close communication with Chuangxin's process technology team. After in-depth research and repeated trials, the technical team decided to adopt an innovative alternative: replacing the conventional 400W servo motor in the moving module with an 800W high-speed servo motor, while simultaneously using a 1500W continuous laser in a low-power, high-speed mode for welding tests.
This solution required precise adjustment of several key factors, including laser parameters, servo motor speed, and welding path; deviations in any of these could affect welding quality. Chuke Intelligent's technicians worked day and night in the laboratory, meticulously optimizing every parameter. After countless trials and improvements, they finally found the optimal welding process combination.
After completing the test samples, the customer carefully inspected the welding results. The results showed minimal heat deformation of the weld, allowing the aluminum foil to be smoothly rolled using the tooling without sticking, fully meeting the customer's high requirements for welding quality. The customer highly praised Chuke Intelligent's technical strength and innovation capabilities, believing that Chuke Intelligent not only provided professional equipment recommendations but also quickly offered effective solutions when encountering difficulties, demonstrating strong service capabilities and a strong sense of responsibility.
Based on satisfaction with the welding quality and trust in Chuke Intelligent, the customer signed a purchase contract on the spot for two laser welding machines with this configuration. This contract not only brings new business growth to Chuke Intelligent but also further consolidates the company's market position in the laser welding field.
Xiao Renmin, Chairman of Chuke Intelligent, stated that this successful cooperation is another demonstration of the company's technological innovation and service capabilities. In the future, Chuke Intelligent will continue to adhere to its innovation-driven development strategy, continuously improve its technological research and development level, strengthen cooperation and communication with upstream and downstream enterprises, and provide customers with more high-quality, efficient, and personalized solutions. At the same time, the company will take this cooperation as an opportunity to further expand the market for welding ultra-thin materials such as single-zero aluminum foil, and make greater contributions to promoting the development of the laser welding industry.
